In the 2023 legislative session, we made transformational changes in health care that will reduce medical bankruptcies, decrease costs for patients, and save the state money. We increased access to care by making undocumented residents eligible for MinnesotaCare on the same terms as other Minnesotans. We protected access to reproductive care and gender-affirming care and continued building a more robust mental health care system. In other areas, we increased funding for education (including free breakfast and lunch in schools), protected our environment and fought climate change, and protected democracy with a series of election reforms. We legalized recreational cannabis and created a paid family and medical leave program.

I'm running for re-election because Minnesota government must work in the interest of ordinary Minnesotans who need affordable health care, education, and economic opportunity. I stand up to the special interests who are taking more and more, leaving too many Minnesotans struggling to get ahead. If re-elected, I will continue fighting for YOU!
